Finding A Property

Rather than take a hit-or-miss approach and simply show you a lot of properties, we've found that a little planning goes a long way toward giving you a more satisfying buying experience. Here's what we d

  1. Together, we determine your goals. Are you looking to upsize, prepare for a family, make an investment? These factors will guide your choices in available properties.
  2. We listen. And listen well. Only then can we be of the most possible help to you. Considering your goals, preferences and other requirements, we can begin to point you toward properties that meet your needs.
  3. Knowledge is power. We explain how the entire real estate buying process works so you have a clear understanding of what will be involved in the purchase experience.
  4. Fine-tuning: We schedule initial showings based on the criteria you've given us. Invariably, these first showings help better define what you like and don't like, want or don't want in a property. Maybe you'll suddenly realize you really want an open floor plan, or a garage with workshop space, or that you can't stand a certain type of kitchen layout.
  5. Now comes the real work. With greater understanding, we work for you, sifting through the Multiple Listings to find the properties that best meet your detailed, personal criteria. This eliminates wasting your time by showing you properties that won't actually suit you.
  6. No pressure when decision time comes. In fact, we suggest that you take some time to think about any offer you decide to make. It will depend on factors like the type of market, number of days listed, price range, the listing agent interview, etc. We never forget that the decision to buy is yours and yours alone. You'll get no pressure from us, only the advice you ask for.
  7. Expert guidance through the purchase process: When you decide to make an offer, we guide you through the entire purchase process. Protecting your interest is the reason we're in this business, and our goal in every transaction.

A few words of direction:

  1. Foreclosures/bank-owned properties: Foreclosures are properties placed on the market when the bank is not getting paid by the purchaser who borrowed money from them. The bank evicts the homeowner, takes back the property and puts it up for sale to recover its investment.
  2. 'Officer Next Door' program: The Officer Next Door (OND) program helps make homeownership faster and more affordable for Law Enforcement Officers. You probably won't need our help to buy through this program, but if you would like some help with the forms, let us know and we will help you for free.
  3. 'Santa Clarita new homes: There is a lot of building going on around the Santa Clarita Valley, Antelope Valley, Simi Valley and the out east areas. Some of these new homes cooperate with agents, meaning that they will give us a commission if we bring you to them and sign in with you as their representatives. And some don't. Of course, we like the ones that do cooperate. But this is something we can help you with whether they cooperate or not. We want the best for you and your family and will do whatever it takes to help you with your real estate needs. If you want to look at new homes, give us a call.
